Having Church at home!
A crash course!
So, what does having church at home look like? How do you do it? Do you just plop on the couch with your bowl of cereal and watch it like and old rerun of M.A.S.H ??NO!!
So let me give you some ideas on how to do church at home!
1. Plan ahead!
· Get the kids up early and get the fed (while you’re at it get some coffee and brush that hair!)
· Get some worship music ready! And play it before or after church service online!
· Have your bibles out or your bible app ready to go! (get the sermon notes if available)
· Tune into church online! If your church doesn’t have online find one that does!
· Follow up and ask questions after (parents you’re the pastor now! So be ready)
During the week
· RightNow Media is a great source for bible studies and videos for the kids!
o If you haven signed up send a email to: office@ptccks.org and in the subject put I want RightNow media and will get you signed up!
· Talk to your kids about what is going on and how God is at work
Be the church!
· Make sure you are reaching out to friend and family
· Take care of your elderly
o Reach out to your neighbors
o See where you can help
· Use social media to reach a broader audience
o Create prayer groups for your family and friends
o Send a verse of the day
· Be the church in this time of crises!
Note: You are the church, and you are the first line of defense! Lead your home during this time and reach out to your local church for help and guidance!
