Philippians 1:27–28 (ESV) Only let your manner of life be worthy of the gospel of Christ, so that whether I come and see you or am absent, I may hear of you that you are standing firm in one spirit, with one mind striving side by side for the faith of the gospel, and not frightened in anything by your opponents. This is a clear sign to them of their destruction, but of your salvation, and that from God.
o   One spirit, one mind! Sometimes you have to serve next to someone you don’t like

o   My  Final call is to Feed the Sheep
o   My number one priority is to feed the souls of the followers of Jesus and to seek the lost
Matthew 9:36 (ESV) When he saw the crowds, he had compassion for them, because they were harassed and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd.
o   God has sent me to shepherd the lost, to seek every lost
Matthew 18:12 (ESV) What do you think? If a man has a hundred sheep, and one of them has gone astray, does he not leave the ninety-nine on the mountains and go in search of the one that went astray?
      Read 2 Timothy 3:1-5 and 4:1-5
o   Break it down!
o   My Job is to give it to you straight
o   It’s up to you, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit to change your heart! It will either get harder or softer!
o   If you’re sitting there pissed off right now, better look at your heart!

Some quotes for your notes:

Charles Spurgeon

·         "To answer objections, is an endless task; it is like trying to empty a flowing fountain with bottomless buckets."

All others
·         "Wherever grace comes it brings gladness." - Henry Tyler
·         "What would bring God most glory?" That question will help clarify almost all of the decisions you'll make for the rest of your life.
·         Humility is a direction, not a destination.
·         A friend is one who tells you what you don't want to hear with a love you cannot deny.
·         The difference between praying for someone & gossiping about them is not what you say but who you say it to.
·         Don't judge people by where they are but rather where they started & what direction they are going. It's about progress not perfection. Jesus is our perfection.
·         Pride is about my glory. Humility is about God's glory.
