How do we stay culturally relevant in today’s world???

Being the pastor of a Cowboy Church can be a daunting task some days! The question that has been on my mind these days is how do we move forward with today’s ever changing world and still hold on to the values of the culture we are trying to reach.

There is a changing environment in the world of technology and it’s hard to keep up there’s blogs, and websites, apps and streaming video. So how do we manage the demand for content and information and still maintain cultural relevance’s??

I think we can if we maintain our core values. Every cowboy will soon have a “smart” phone and what better way to stay connected to our Church then to keep current on our sermons, feedlot classes and events with his/her phone through an app. It will mean upgrading some cameras and investing in an App design. But I think that if we are to stay relevant and drive souls to heaven we need to stay relevant in technology.
